The Lake Road journey began with the first vines planted in 1975. Settled on the world’s eastern edge in New Zealand, our vines are the first to see the light of each new day.

As well as producing wines from our own vineyards, Lake Road works with a small number of artisan growers and producers throughout New Zealand. Our brief is a simple one - create iconic wines, that capture the abundant sunshine and the taste of the land we call home.
